Reina Federation Holds General Assembly, Highlights Contributions to Local Communities

admin, April 30, 2024May 7, 2024

Reina Federation recently convened its General Assembly, gathering its member Parent Associations to celebrate their collective achievements and contributions to local communities. The assembly was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including MSWDO James Portales and Ms. Lorenza M. Francisco, PPO of ChildFund Philippines.

During the assembly, Sir James Portales expressed his gratitude for Reina Federation’s significant contributions to the program implementation of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Real, specifically in the area of Early Childhood Development (ECD). He commended the organization for providing training to ECD Child Development Workers and Caregivers, as well as their involvement in the RAMDAM project.

Sir James also took pride in the fact that many of Reina Federation’s leaders have now assumed leadership roles within the LGU and Barangays. He acknowledged that the capacity-building activities for parents have played a crucial role in improving and developing their leadership capacities, fostering a ripple effect of positive change within their communities.

The General Assembly brought together three Parent Associations under the Reina Federation umbrella: Luntiang Pangarap of Real, Quezon; ICOMPAS of Infanta, Quezon; and PAMANA of Gen. Nakar, Quezon. This gathering provided a platform for the associations to share their experiences, celebrate their successes, and collectively chart the course for future endeavors.

During the assembly, members had the opportunity to discuss their respective initiatives, share best practices, and explore avenues for collaboration and resource-sharing. The event underscored the power of collective action and the impact that grassroots organizations can have when working together towards a common goal.

The General Assembly also served as a platform to recognize the outstanding contributions of individual members and associations, fostering a spirit of appreciation and motivation to continue their efforts in uplifting their communities.

Reina Federation remains committed to empowering parent associations and promoting grassroots initiatives that address the unique needs and challenges of local communities. Through collaborative efforts and a shared vision, the organization aims to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of families and children across the region.
