18 Youth Disaster Risk Reduction Facilitators are dynamically engaged in child protection and DRM actions in their communities and homes. They have facilitated Gabay at Mapa Para sa Listong Pamilyang Pilipino, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support and Psychological First Aid.

A total of 24 youth facilitators facilitated Youth Development Session (YDS) in the 26 villages covered by Reina Federation. A total of 982 youth (Female-520 and male-462) participated in the activity. Also, the youth, with the guidance of Reina Federation, developed a criterion for the best youth and families with completed E-Balde and Gabay at Mapa. This is to set model family in the Barangay. 

Two youth facilitators also invited to facilitate the cluster Youth Camp of Department of Education in Polillo Island. Among the participants are the School Organization Leaders and teachers in the cluster of REINA POGI cluster which includes the towns of Real, Infanta and General Nakar in the mainland and Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Patnanungan and Jomalig in POGI Polillo Group of Islands. The topic being facilitated are Climate Change and Family Preparedness (Listong Pamilyang Pilipino and E-Balde).

Project RAMDA successfully launched and turned over to Municipality of Infanta for the sustainability and use of the system.

Family Preparedness:

  • 1,525 Families are practicing child protection and disaster resilient interventions.
  • Regular monitoring and home visitation for the families participated in Session Gabay at Mapa Para sa Listong Pamilyang Pilipino.

PARTNERSHIP:

  • 1 LGU and seven Barangays of Infanta completed their BDRRM plans with the integration of Infectious Diseases and Child Protection plans and programs on DRR-CCA and CPiE.
