FY 2021

“CHILDREN: the HEART of our ACTION amidst PANDEMIC situation.”

The Reina Federation of Parents Associations Inc. has been serving the 26 barangays of Real, Infanta and General Nakar (ReINa) for 13 years now. Even in the midst of pandemic, the Federation remains a strong and dedicated partner of ChildFund, in promoting and implementing rights-based community programs among Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable (DEV) children in the area.

For fiscal year 2021, it focused its efforts on Family Disaster Resilience (FDR). This encompassing and relevant program creatively integrates activities that help families cope with, and build resiliency against COVID-19.

Meanwhile, this period also brought significant changes to the Board of Trustees (BOTs) of the Federation. A new set of officers were elected, majority of them are first-time holding a BOT position. This batch of BOTs emerged from being plain home-based sessions participants to become the new leaders of the organization. Further, the staff composition is now complete, as the Community and Sponsor Relations Coordinator (CSRC) position has been filled.

“At back of my mind, I know there are lots of risks as we implement our program in times of COVID. Aside from that, the Federation experienced security threats and staff movement. But these cannot hamper our operations. Children, our impact group, needs us now more than before. Our collaborated efforts are bigger than this pandemic.”
