Further, as a result of trainings received by the Federation Board such as Leadership and Governance, Financial Management, and Child Protection, some challenges in the Federation were addressed. In fact, the audit team of the Federation take lead in the preparation of internal audit and also the Federation Board focal persons are able to process the statutory requirements and legal status of both Federation and Parent Associations.

The Federation Board also take the initiative to have a Monitoring Team to ensure quality project implementation and efficient use of the budget. This answer the one challenge  or element under each capability building area which is Federation fall short in, the one limited technical capacities on outcomes monitoring and evaluation. Through the creation of monitoring team and continuous capacity building, the said capability area is already addressed.

More so, during Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and Program Quality Reflection (PQR), Sustainability of the organization and the programs interventions are the primary challenge of the Federation. To solve this, a Sustainability Plan has been crafted this year which not only aim for the Sustainability of the Organization but also to have a legacy and impact to the lives of the children and the community.

The Federation also continue to build partnership and network building such as Board attended the ABSNET meeting. Meanwhile, as a part of partnership with MASIPAG, the Board supported their activity in PA level particularly in providing inputs their project plan in Bio-intensive gardening. The Federation also through its President, attended the SGC Assessment in PESA, LSB in Real, Nutrition Council in Real, and MCPC in Real, Quezon. The Federation Board also are actively involved towards the Community Project Reviews which aims to determine the program milestones and to determine specific and effective strategies in order to achieve the desired program outcomes through a community consultation. Through this meetings, access of the Federation and its Governing Board is shown and also, it serves as a good venue to influence its partners towards the development of children in the community.
