Nurturing Healthy, Happy, and Safe Beginnings
Supporting Children & Families from Pregnancy to Age Five Across Real, Infanta, General Nakar, and Burdeos Island
πΆ Core Strategic Objective & Scope
Life Stage 1 (LS1) focuses on ensuring that infants and young children aged 0β5 are developmentally on track, well-nourished, healthy, and protected within safe, caring family and community environments.
- Strategic Objective 1: Improved caregiving practices of parents and caregivers (nurturing health, nutrition, early stimulation, responsive caregiving, and child protection).
- Strategic Objective 2: Community stakeholders and local government units leading initiatives for infant/child development, health policy, and early childhood care systems.
- Core Interventions: First 1,000 Days (F1KD) nutrition, Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP), EcoSprout clean water and solar infrastructure, and Responsive & Protective Parenting.
In the quiet fishing villages of Real, the riverbank communities of Infanta, the mountain settlements of General Nakar, and the surrounding islands of Burdeos, every childβs story begins at home. The first 1,000 days of lifeβfrom pregnancy through a childβs fifth birthdayβbuild the essential foundation for a lifetime of physical health, learning, and happiness.
ReINa Federation of Parents Associations, Inc. partners with ChildFund Philippines, Municipal Health Offices, and Barangay Health Workers so that every infant and toddler grows up well-nourished, protected, and loved.
